First public mural

I had the opportunity to apply my interest in mural art for this New Balance and Phantom Billboard collab of Kawhi Leonard on Khyber pass in Newmarket. NBA MVP was a fun mission painting and had a lot of cool support and feedback from it. Really keen to get more jobs like this and start developing my spray can skills more.

A self-taught realism artist born and raised in West Auckland, New Zealand.

Matthew Griffin, 25, has graduated with a Bachelor of Structural Engineering in 2017 and now pursues a full-time career as an Artist. Matthew has specialist drawing skills with charcoal and has recently converted his time into oil painting. He paints realism portraiture of all things living and aspires to delve deep into surrealism painting.

Matt has also recently developed abilities with aerosol cans to deliver his realism portraiture through the mural style.
