Switch Plane is the first part of my most creative thinking series yet. Through deep thought and a lot of planning, I have created a painting on a skateboard that looks into the idea of perspective.
Perspective was an idea that changed the art scene and the architectural scene forever throughout the renaissance period. Inspired by this, I have opened up a new look into perspective, but from an inanimate object. A view not possible from the human eye, I have created the “Boards-eye view” series. Switching the dimensional plane to an essential 4D plane, we can see what the skateboard sees from the ground up.
Skating “switch” through Auckland City, I present Switch Plane.
